How It Works
Set your intention. Grow with precision.
1. Set Your Acting Goal
Every actor has something they want to sharpen. So, identify the skill you want to improve, even if it’s just curiosity in a new technique.
2. Pick Your Training Script (Sides)
Browse our categories and select a scene designed for the exact technique you want to strengthen. Every Training Side is intentionally short, targeted, and built to make your growth measurable.
3. Break Down the Script
Read the scene once for story, then again for detail. Look for shifts, tactics, relationships, and clues. Write down one specific goal you’ll try to achieve on camera.
4. Record Your Performance
Use your smartphone or any camera. Keep it simple. Treat it like a mini-rehearsal or audition.
5. Watch the Playback and Adjust
Your growth happens here. Playback shows you what’s working and what still needs attention. Make a small adjustment and record it again, or choose another script in the same category to deepen the skill.
For New Actors and Parents
Clear, manageable steps for actors at the beginning of their journey.
1. Start With One Focus
New actors learn best when the goal is simple. Choose one skill — confidence, clarity, pacing, emotional truth, or character detail.
2. Select an Easy-to-Follow Script
All Training Sides are short and designed to set actors up for success. Pick a script from the category that matches your focus.
3. Practice Out Loud Before Filming
Have your actor read the scene aloud several times. Encourage natural speech, steady pacing, and imagining the other character. Parents can read the other role if needed.
4. Film a Short Take
A smartphone works great. Don’t chase perfection. We are here to practice, not perform.
5. Review Together
Watch the performance with supportive eyes. Ask simple questions:
Did we believe the moment?
Did the pace feel steady?
What improved from last time? Small wins compound fast.
