Frequently Asked Questions

How is Training Sides different from other script libraries?

Script libraries rarely target the exact techniques actors need to improve. They focus on the plot. We focus on technique. Every script on Training Sides is handcrafted by working actors, coaches, and writers to solve real performance weaknesses: pace, rhythm, choice-making, emotional connection, genre specificity, exposition and more. These scenes are built for growth, not the story.

Additional Questions

Categories

How do I know which script category to train with?

Start by identifying your current growth goal. Each category targets a specific skill — like Pace & Rhythm, Making Choices, Self-Taping, or Objectives & Tactics. Choose the category that aligns with what you want to strengthen, and use the built-in clues in each script to focus your work.

Coaching

What if I don’t have an acting teacher, scene partner, or accountability partner?

Training Sides was designed to be solo-friendly. Every script can be rehearsed and filmed on your own. Members who want feedback can also book discounted private Zoom sessions with a Training Sides coach.

Content

How often are new scripts added?

New scripts drop every month. We add 10 fresh scenes and archive several older ones, keeping the library active, focused, and consistently challenging for returning members.

Characters

Are the scripts gender-neutral or written for specific types?

Most Training Sides scripts are written for all performers. Self-tape scripts are always gender-neutral, while other categories offer flexible casting so every actor can focus on technique instead of type.

Cancellations

Can I cancel my membership at any time?

Yes. Monthly members can cancel anytime before their next billing date. Annual members receive a discounted price for paying upfront and maintain access to the full site for the year. There are no refunds for completed payments. However, you can prevent future payments.

Length

How long are the scripts on Training Sides?

Every script is a tight, intentional 1-3 page scene. This length gives actors enough space to apply technique, explore character, and produce strong self-tapes without feeling overwhelmed.

Beginners

Are these scripts appropriate for beginners?

Absolutely. Training Sides is built for all levels. New actors (and parents of youth actors) can follow the simple system: choose a category, learn the clues, film a take, and watch the playback. More advanced actors can dive deeper into nuance, pacing, and genre technique.

Acting Studios

Can acting teachers use these scripts in their classes?

Yes. Training Sides was created with educators in mind. Every script is original and technique-driven, perfect for warm-ups, circuit training, and classroom scene study. Many teachers build entire lessons around specific Training Sides categories.
