A Simple Idea
With A Big Purpose
Training Sides began as a shared experiment among a group of acting coaches, writers, directors, and students who were all seeing the same thing in their classrooms and coaching sessions: actors needed short, focused material that targeted specific weaknesses and made measurable growth possible.

Instead of giving vague notes like “ground yourself," "go deeper," or “make stronger choices,” we began asking sharper questions:

-
What, specifically, does this actor need to work on?
-
What technique will truly unlock their next level?
-
How can we write a script that makes that technique unavoidable?
From those questions came lots of small, intentional scenes — not award-winning scripts, but purposeful training tools. Scripts that help actors identify challenges, build confidence, and finish a session knowing they actually improved.
Why We Built This Platform

-
Not everyone has access to a great acting class.
-
Not everyone lives in a major filming market.
-
Not everyone has a coach who gives clear, actionable feedback.
-
And not everyone knows what to practice once they’re on their own.
-
But talent exists everywhere. Passion exists everywhere.
-
And meaningful training should, too.

Training Sides was created so any actor — anywhere — can experience focused, measurable growth through short, intentional scripts that are easy to practice at home, in class, or in coaching.

Whether you’re brand new, returning after years away, sharpening your skills between auditions, or teaching classroom full of students, Training Sides gives you clear tools that support real progress.

We believe that when more actors have access to purposeful training, the entire filmmaking ecosystem becomes stronger.
Better actors make better films.
Better films grow the industry.
Everyone benefits.
